2019 is coming! Time to think about what is Important, so as not to wait until it becomes Urgent!

One afternoon, when we were still at the old Six headquarters, we were discussing a Mother's Day campaign for one of our clients; at a certain point, Paulo, our Art Director, commented that he didn't understand how time had passed so quickly, as he remembered in detail the New Year's campaign that we had done for the same client.
At that moment, I jokingly teased him, saying that we should finish that work quickly, as Christmas would soon arrive and we would have to be ready to start the new campaigns.
Do you know what happened when Christmas actually arrived?
We remember that conversation as if it had happened the day before. And worse, we still remember buy phone number list conversation so clearly that on every special date, we always joke here at the agency about the arrival of the next Christmas.
What do we learn from this?
The importance of “planning in advance” for each new important stage of our work. Because the dates simply arrive, and time passes, runs, flies!
That's why I'm writing to you today, just to ask you a question.
Do you already know what you want to do differently in 2019 to achieve your goals?
I thought I'd ask you this, because there's not long left before we enter that frenetic funnel of events that engulf us at the end of each year. If we already have little time today, imagine what it'll be like when spring arrives, when the days get longer (more work), and the nights get shorter and warmer (dinners, parties, friends visiting)…
I can't say how 2018 is going for you, but I can tell you that if we want to change something for 2019, it's time to start thinking about a new marketing strategy, to structure yourself now and start 2019 running ahead of your competitors.
After all, everything takes time! Meetings need to be scheduled, new work needs to be carried out in parallel with current work, investments need to be made… And if we think about it, a professional website takes an average of 90 days to be designed, developed, reviewed, tested and published.
It's not easy at all! But yes, it's important! And my advice is that it's better to think about it now, before it becomes urgent.
We Brazilians are known around the world for our lack of planning, for leaving everything to the last minute! But it doesn't always have to be like that.
